**Position Overview**
HCL Technologies is looking for highly qualified Analysts specializing in Risk Assessments and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join our team in Pune. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of two years of experience in technology risk frameworks, enterprise risk management, and control processes within global organizations. The selected candidate will help implement and improve our risk assessment processes, support compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and utilize best practices to secure and manage technology and data resources.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Risk Assessment and Management**
– Conduct risk assessments across technology functions and operational areas, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
– Collaborate with various business units to evaluate technology risk and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
– Support the development and maintenance of an Enterprise Risk Management framework tailored to HCL’s unique risk landscape and business model.
– Leverage data-driven insights to continuously monitor and assess potential risks, ensuring the safety and security of critical systems.

2. **Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Practices**
– Implement GRC methodologies and support compliance with relevant standards and frameworks, such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies), and ISO 27001.
– Aid in the development and enhancement of GRC policies, ensuring they are scalable, repeatable, and measurable within the organization.
– Facilitate internal training sessions on risk management processes to promote organization-wide understanding and adherence to GRC protocols.
– Act as a primary resource for managing and escalating GRC-related issues, providing timely and relevant solutions.

3. **Technology and Tools Proficiency**
– Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, risk reporting, and other analytical tasks. Proficiency in Excel is essential to create detailed reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into risk trends and patterns.
– Experience in tools like JIRA for tracking project progress and managing tasks related to risk mitigation and GSNOW for governance and service management.
– Familiarity with other GRC tools and frameworks, particularly for creating, maintaining, and auditing compliance data and risk registers.

4. **Data Privacy and Compliance**
– Possess a strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, with an emphasis on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
– Support compliance with global data privacy standards, ensuring that HCL’s policies and processes are up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
– Assist in developing and implementing privacy risk assessments, data handling protocols, and other controls to protect sensitive information and avoid data breaches.
– Maintain awareness of new regulatory developments, adapting HCL’s GRC framework to meet evolving data privacy and compliance requirements.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

– **Minimum Experience**: At least 2 years of experience working as a Risk and Control Lead, or a similar role focused on technology risk management within a global organization.
– **Framework Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO 27001, and a strong commitment to implementing best practices.
– **Analytical Skills**: Advanced proficiency in Excel, enabling the candidate to manage large data sets, create complex formulas, and generate pivot tables for analyzing risk metrics.
– **Technical Tools**: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA and GSNOW, along with familiarity with various GRC and data privacy platforms.
– **Data Privacy Awareness**: Good knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws, with an ability to apply these principles to real-world scenarios within the company’s GRC framework.
